About the Event

Celebrating the cultural background and wellness of communities globally. NYU students are invited to share their cultural practices that help them to navigate wellness and resilience. In partnership with GSO clubs and student groups, the School of Culture, Education and Human Development community will host a daily zoom session that features students and wellness practices from the following communities. The week will culminate with a two day weekend session that focuses on dismantling systemic oppression in different pockets of Steinhardt. 

Participants engage in dialogue, strategic thinking and data aggregation to offer a dismantling systemic oppression solutions report. Participants are, NYU students, faculty, researchers consultants, community members who will utilize their skill sets and institutional knowledge to develop the solutions report and arts based research by the end of the lab engagement.
